John Muir Health has a market-driven compensation program. We look to the labor market to determine appropriate compensation for our employees. Salary ranges are reviewed annually against labor market data and adjusted accordingly. Individual salaries are adjusted according to data results.
Once each year, each employee will receive a performance evaluation. Individual salary increases are considered at this time and are based, in part, on the individual’s evaluation. Salary increases are not guaranteed.
The other time a salary increase would typically occur is when you’re promoted or you transfer into a position in a higher salary grade. Internal pay equity between the individual’s job and others in the same salary grade is taken into consideration at that time.
Employees covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement should refer to it for additional information.
