CAREER COACHING

Once you become a John Muir Health employee, we want to make sure you want to stay. That doesn’t mean you have to work at the same job for your entire career. People grow and change; being in a new environment can lead to new interests and, perhaps, inspire you to move your career in a different direction.

The John Muir Health Career Coaching program can help you if you decide to change to another career at John Muir Health that’s right for you. When you participate, you’ll:

  • Complete an assessment that helps identify your strengths and interests
  • Meet one-on-one with a qualified career coach to help you see how to turn your strengths and interests into a career that’s right for you
  • Have access to information that will help you decide where and how to get additional education or training you may need
  • Develop a written action plan and checklist that will help you approach your career change in an organized and effective manner
  • Follow up with your coach to report the results of your efforts and determine if you need more information to help you complete the change.

For more career coaching information or to get started, contact Jan Hunter at jan.hunter@johnmuirhealth.com. send an email

If you need additional education or training to meet your career goals, you may be eligible for financial assistance through John Muir Health.
