CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS | WORK STUDY PROGRAM

JMH is not accepting Work Study Program applications at this time. Check back on this website for updates.

The John Muir Health Work Study Program enables eligible employees who apply and are selected to work a reduced schedule and be paid their regular rate of pay while attending school in pursuit of approved educational programs. (Per diem employees are not eligible for this program.)

Please understand that we have a limited number of spaces available in the Work Study Program for any year that it is offered. And, the process is very competitive. Applicants are judged on a number of qualities. Not everyone who applies will be selected to participate.

If you are accepted, for the entire time you participate in the Work Study Program you must:

  • Continue to meet the eligibility requirements for the Work Study Program
  • Maintain your grades in keeping with college requirements
  • Carry a full-time course load required by the Work Study Program.
