CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS | SCHOLARSHIPS

The John Muir Health Employee Scholarship Award Program, administered by Scholarship America, awards scholarships to help eligible selected employees pay for up to one year (school year or calendar year) of work-related education in approved courses of study at affiliated institutions. (Per diem employees are not eligible for an award.)

If you apply, and are selected to receive an award, you can receive:

• Up to $2,500 for the year to pursue an approved Associate Degree
• Up to $5,000 for the year to pursue an approved Bachelor’s Degree
• Up to $7,500 for the year to pursue an approved Advanced or Post-Baccalaureate Degree.

Applications must be postmarked by January 30, 2009.

Please understand that we have a limited number of scholarships available for the year and the award selection process is very competitive. Applicants are judged on a number of qualities. Not everyone who applies will receive an award.
