TIME OFF | BEREAVEMENT LEAVE

All regular full-time and part-time employees may be paid up to three scheduled work days for an absence due to a death in their immediate family. If you must travel out of state, you may be eligible for two additional unpaid days. You may use available PTO for these days if you wish.

Immediate family members are your spouse, children, parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandchildren, mother in law, father in law, step-mother, step-father, step-sister, step-brother and step-children.

Details differ by department and by collective bargaining agreement. Please check the appropriate document for details appropriate to you, or talk to your supervisor.
